Cody: I wonder what that tasty old thing could be? I wonder what will happen if I push these buttons?

(Suddenly Cody is teleported into a future classroom.)

Cody: Where am I?

Computer Screen 1: Hi Cody. Do you want to try some food?

Computer 2: No. Try my food.

Computer 3: Please try my food.

Cody: What am I going to do? I will test their food.

Computer 1: Here you go.

Cody: It tastes like banana and cheese together. I like it.

Computer 2: Try this.

Cody: It tastes like apple and pie. It was tasty.

Computer 3: Try this.

Cody: It tastes like chicken and chips. Yummy. Thank you but I have to go. Bye.

The Spooky House

Great news! Mum has just bought a new house. We are moving today. The moving truck has taken all our furniture and we are all squashed into our car.

But what is this?

“Have you got the right address?” I ask.

“It’s 27 Richmond Place,” says Mum.

“But this house is deserted,” I said, “and the gate is broken.”

That night as I lay in my bed in my new bedroom, I could not stop thinking about our new house. Suddenly I heard this strange noise. It appeared to be coming from the ceiling. I lay awake imagining what it might be. It sounded like an invasion of aliens. Finally I fell into a deep sleep exhausted from the day.

The next day I went exploring to see what could have been making a noise like that. In one room I found droplets of green gook splattered around the floor. In the next room I found powdered footprints across the floor but this foot has three toes.

Then dad came in and I told him what I had found. Then he said there were a lot of rats and a lot of rat poison left by the previous owners.

Shanty town

I didn’t get a cold. I didn’t watch Harry Potter. I did not go to the movies.

I did go to Shanty Town. I also went gold panning because I wanted to go gold panning and it cost $5.00 but at least I got some gold.

Oh yeah, I also got locked up in some old cuffs. That was about it.

Shanty Town is an old mining town and there were 2 or 3 mining tunnels. There was an old building and an old steam train.

How to make a Pop up Card

You need:

Paper colouring pencils

glue

and scissors

1 Fold the paper in half .

2 Cut the folded edge of the paper

at both ends 2cm from the end .

3 Make the cuts about 3cm

Beach Day

Beach Day

The beach day was fantastic. It was very yummy.

It was really fun when we built sandcastles and the cool thing was I got a picture taken.

Soccer was quite fun because we had teams but we didn’t win but it was fun anyway.

Everyone sat next to the cars and then Mr Whippy came but we didn’t get an ice cream.

But it was really fun and cool when we played on the playground and built sandcastles. But it was really yummy when we ate lunch and when we built sandcastles with moats. But it was fun when we played soccer.

My Little Teddy Bear

My Little Teddy Bear

My teddy bear is my kiwiana icon from the past. I got him when I broke my arm.

He could fit into my lunch box. The good part about him is that he has a broken arm like I did and he is very soft.

My teddy came with a cast on and I sleep with him every night. I got him with a gift basket with chocolate and lollies.

The hospital got me the whole entire thing and I was really happy that they got me it.

He was the most best teddy I have ever got as he is very cute and very soft.

The Variety Show

Crazy Variety Show

On Monday night we had a variety show. It was at Nayland College. The junior and middle syndicate was involved.

I was a glow worm and I swiggled. I swiggled because it was cool. It was cool. I was so hot that I wanted to take the rubbish bag off.

Our story was about how Tane made light. Tom was Tame and he pushed them apart. I was a glow worm. I had to move arms.
